Hello world, my name is Ana George, and I am haunted by the colors and shapes around me–I simply can not ignore them. My whole life, I have been transfixed by the light dancing in my own eyes. I am on a quest to capture these phantoms on paper and seal them with paint.
In my art, I love exploring beautiful and unsettling environments. I want to go beyond what can be captured with a camera by reconstructing landscapes from my imagination, dreams, and memories. I want my art to invite its own creatures to inhabit it. Anything could be hiding in the darkness, around the corner, or behind you.
